Knowledge Sharing: What are Design Tokens?

With the complexity of design systems, and a unique need to be as customizable as possible, an initiative was taken to use a token system. By working closely with the UI engineers on the team, we successfully implemented a highly scaleable token system that could be utilized by the engineering team for the design system.
